Proposal of New member Candidates:
1. Each new candidate for approval as a Regular member is proposed by one regular member and supported by another regular member. The candidate is. nominated by filling in the specified form on which the following is written: The candidate's full name, the residence and occupation with the signatures of the proposing and supporting regular members. Upon submission of the completed form, the registration fee and six-month sports facility usage fees are paid to the Treasurer, which are returned to the candidate in the event that he/she is not approved by the Council. The General Secretary of the Club (in accordance with article 20 of the Articles of Association) registers the name and address of the candidate member in the "Registrar of candidates members", which is kept for this purpose. The specified form is pinned on the board inside the Club house for period of 14 days before the date on which the approval of the candidate as a member will be decided. The Board of the Club decides by an absolute majority to approve or reject a candidate. The nominating and the supporting regular member shall ensure that they introduce the candidate member to two or more members of the Board of the Club.
I declare as a candidate member of the Nicosia tennis club (FIELD CLUB), that based on article 8 of the club's Articles of Association, I advocate that the completed specified form that I signed to submit my candidacy for regular membership, be posted in a prominent place in the Club's house for a period of 14 days before the date on which my approval will be decided by the Board of Directors.
I also declare that I have been informed of what is provided for in Article 8 of the club's Articles of Association and I fully agree with the procedures referred to therein.
